I have been an avid fisherman and hunter since before I was even old enough to walk. Growing up exploring Wisconsin waters taught me how fish behave, where they feed, and exactly what kind of presentation triggers a strike. The moniker 'Madd Matt' is just a nickname, but the dedication to handcrafted fishing gear is genuine and deeply rooted in a lifetime spent on the water.
Crafted by hand, one piece at a time
Unlike mass-produced lures found in big box stores, every piece that leaves our workshop is built with painstaking attention to detail. We specialize in classic recreations and custom hand-tied lures and flies that deliver unmatched durability and realism.
